A leading dealer group in the greater Hampton / Newport News area is seeking an experienced New Car Sales Manager to join our leadership team.

We are looking for a hands-on sales leader who can drive performance, develop a successful team, maintain strong CSI, and help maximize dealership profitability in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will lead from the front, support and coach their team, and continue to foster a professional, high-performing sales culture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the New Car Sales Department
• Motivate, train, and develop sales professionals
• Assist with desking deals and maximizing department profitability
• Monitor sales performance, goals, and daily activity
• Help maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention
• Work closely with Finance and other dealership departments
• Ensure a professional, customer-focused sales environment
• Support inventory management and merchandising efforts
• Drive dealership sales objectives and overall team success
   

Qualifications:

• Previous Automotive Sales Manager experience required
• Import dealership experience preferred but not required
• Proven leadership and team development abilities
• Strong desking, closing, and negotiation skills
• Track record of achieving sales and profitability goals
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Valid driver’s license required
